He obtained LL.B(Hons.) in 1997 as well as a Masters Degree in Business Administration(MBA) in 2014, both from the University of Maiduguri. He was called to the Bar in 2001. He served in the Borno State Judiciary for decades and retired as a Director in 2021 on the post of Deputy Sheriff of Borno State. His practice interests include Appellate briefs and general trials.
